RE:FOCUS ON CAREERS is the premier organization dedicated to helping professionals
enhance their careers through networking.

 AMBASSADOR COMMITTEES

   The Ambassador Program offers our members an opportunity to become more
involved with this organization, including leadership positions.

Members are encouraged to become involved in RE:FOCUS ON CAREERS by joining one or more committees. There are also opportunities to take on a leadership role within each committee.  Committees will set objectives, success criteria, leadership team & will meet at least once a quarter. To volunteer, email the Committee Chair and cc: amy@refocusoncareers.com. Please put  the SPECIFIC COMMITTEE in the subject line.  

Community Service Committee:  Identify, coordinate, promote, and recruit volunteers for community service/volunteer opportunities for members. Now planning Hands on Atlanta-Sat, October 3, 2009.

Marketing Committee/PR:  Recognize, create, and execute PR and Marketing opportunities
Chair: Lisa Marianni
Assistant Chair: Bernard Hall 

Membership Committee:  Increase membership and attendance at events
Chair: Brad Neave 

Mentoring Committee:  Create a formal assignment to partner those who are less experienced with networking with a more experienced member. Now accepting Mentors and Protégés.
Chair: Liisa Hardaloupas

Re:Focus on Referrals Committee: Organizes business-to-business networking events that enable you to meet many other businesses, with a friendly commitment to give and get referrals! Now accepting guests.
Meetings are the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday morning of each month from 7:15am-8:45am at the Bedford Conference Room, 6525 The Corners Parkway, Suite 111, Norcross, GA  30092. (Directions: I-285 to Peachtree Industrial North, LEFT at split onto Paul Duke Pkwy/Peachtree Pkwy, LEFT at second light (@Chick Fil A), RIGHT onto The Corners Parkway, RIGHT into office park, First building on RIGHT, second hallway on right, conference room at end.)
Chair: Robert Rosner 

Social Committee:  Plan and implement social networking events. Now planning Aug 13, Oct 22, & Dec 15 events. Needs: volunteers, door prizes, etc.
Co-Chairs: Hadriane Kalfus and Susan Hawkins

Sponsorship Committee:  Identify, create, engage, and form sponsorship alliances with national and local businesses, associations, and organizations. Now accepting SPONSORS

Strategic Initiatives Committee:  Develop and implement strategic initiatives to allow this organization to grow and further benefit its members. 
Chair: Beverly Beren  

Technology Committee: Identify, design, format, and build better technology to make the organization more efficient and the website more interactive and user friendly for its members  
Chair: Troy Johnson  Assistant Chair: Mike Himelstein   

Venue Committee: Determine venues for networking meetings, referral groups, socials, and other events.  (Venue criteria usually include meeting space for 50-100 professionals, free parking, food and beverage, A/V equipment.)  
Chair: Angela Sarumi

Yahoo groups are online forums created to facilitate networking, allowing members to exchange business and networking opportunities, volunteer events, contact information, and other useful tips.
